Our Look at the Business Jet Marketplace at MEBAA
The MEBAA gathers regional and global players from the business and private aviation community, uniting industry operators and leaders to discuss key market factors, announce new aircraft and technology developments, and network to build new partnerships. It is held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, Chairman of Dubai Airports, and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline and Group.
This 9th MEBAA Show promises to be the most transformative to date. This year’s event will showcase the innovation and technology driving significant growth in business aviation, private jet, and charter flight markets and lay out a roadmap for business aviation in the future.
The organisers have introduced a redesigned immersive show floor featuring new high-tech and ultra-luxurious jets. Also on display will be blockchain-based assets and eVTOL aircraft. The agenda introduces new content, networking features, and an event app to help attendees make the most of the opportunities.
This year, the show launches a new BizAv Talks conference, with over 20 sessions on the agenda and more than 35 global industry leaders and specialists presenting their views on the trends shaping the future of business aviation. The sessions, spread over three days of the MEBAA show, are free to attend and offer invaluable information to those who want to stay in the know of this sector.
Two critical themes for the BizAv talks are Air mobility and Sustainability in private aviation. Several sessions at the BizAv Talks discuss best practices to meet sustainability targets while protecting ROI. Dedicated sessions will also explore the rise of eVTOLs, Advanced Air Mobility technology, and future Urban Air Mobility networks.
MEBAA’s founding and executive chairman – Ali Ahmed Alnaqbi — will look at the facts and figures shaping the industry and highlight the regional trends in the Middle East during his presentation ‘Emerging markets forecast - accessing the top countries who are contributing to business aviation growth’.
Eymeric Segard, CEO of Luna Aviation Group, will present a market analysis during his presentation ‘Critical observation of global biz av trends’.
“As clients become ever more demanding, and as technology never ceases to innovate in all aspects of life, the private jet charter business is also investing in making every flight as efficient and stress-free as possible,” Segard said ahead of his session. “From searching, booking, flying and rating, pampering the client is the lead technology driver to gain market share and loyalty.”
There will also be a panel discussion on ‘Creating the ultimate flying experience for the elite’, exploring the changing travel expectations of the VIP market and what business aviation will look like in the next 20 years.
The MEBAA is open daily from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm but is exclusive to business professionals and the industry, and requires a business card for entry. The exhibition hall is air-conditioned, with indoor catering areas available. The aircraft static display is open to all registered attendees, and exhibitors govern aircraft viewing.
The whole LunaJets team will be present onsite. Together with our CEO, Eymeric Segard, and our Managing Director, Alain Leboursier, Eriks Ziverts, Director for the Baltics and Scandinavia, and Petr Baladin, Director for Russia & CIS, will also attend the event.
