  3. Usa And Uk Ban Cabin Electronic Devices On Several Flights

The US and UK bans are not affecting private flights

With ongoing security measures that are being implemented, including USA’s and UK’s recent ban on electronic devices, business passengers find themselves at a disadvantage when flying via commercial airlines and attempting to get some work done. Flying private has become the optimal, if not the only, way of doing business on board when flying from the affected destinations.

LunaJets confirms that the ban does not apply to private jet flights travelling from the Middle East and North Africa including Turkey, Jordan, Egypt, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Morocco, Qatar, Lebanon and the UAE. Our clients may continue flying comfortably and securely with us, working and benefiting from their time on-board.

Unlike commercial flights, business clients flying private can keep taking calls and sending emails with confidence thanks to on-board WiFi systems. Their personal devices will always be within their reach without the risk of loss or damage from the airplane luggage haul. As per usual, private jets may host business executives and turn the lounge cabin into their very own boardroom as if they never left their office. Flying private means guaranteed confidentiality and doing business without being interrupted, a luxury not even the First Class can provide!

Families with kids will also find comfort in this offer. Parents may sigh with relief, as their children will be able to bring on-board and continue using their favorite gaming consoles, tablets, PCs, etc.

As a reminder, last week, as of 21st of March, the UK and US launched a series of bans on bringing “larger than average mobile devices” on board commercial flights coming from the Middle East and North Africa. This would require devices that do not meet the restriction to be checked-in before crossing security clearance. As a consequence, this change could signify flight delays and increase of theft and/or damage to the luggage holding the devices.

Fortunately, since the ban is not affecting private jet flights, LunaJets may still grant access to an office in the sky, where passengers are guaranteed confidential, efficient and fruitful benefits from their time on-board.

If you are affected by this ban, need more freedom during your flights, and want to continue flying at the best price, please do not hesitate to contact LunaJets on +41 22 782 12 12 or email us at lunajets@lunajets.com. Our advisory team is on hand 24/7 to assist you with your flight requests.
